Heaven is the theme song of a horse ranch on Block Island, RI run by the Last Knight of the Round Table who time-travelled with Yoko Ono to fight Hitler. He sang it to me, beautifully. It's all true, I couldn't make it up if I tried. I hope I go to crazy people heaven. Matt
This is some great music for a morose, rainy day. Lush, sedate, bluesy, and with a certain apocalyptic flair, most evident on White Horses, which sounds very much like a psychedelic blues dirge.
I appreciate that the songs sometimes lose themselves along the way, giving way to some beautiful psych explorations. I also enjoy the vocals on this - they sometimes waver, but they fit the music so well. Smekermann
The posthumous record by the legendary Tony Joe White is full of rugged, smoky blues & Americana, culled from a trove of demos. Bandcamp New & Notable May 10, 2021
This record somehow manages to slow down time! I enjoy the overall sound of the instruments and especially the voice. Either listen to this in a dark room and relax or crank up the volume and feel the fuzz!
